Application for L.W. Emporium Co-Op
Please read the following
contract , and contact the LW Emporium
Co-Op direct.
The application process takes
approximately 2 weeks.
1.
6 month commitment to enter the Emporium. (After first
6 months, each space is a month-by-month rental.)
2. Rental rate is $169.00/month ($2028 for 52 weeks) per space. This
rate is subject to change in the future and advance
notice will be provided. (The Co-Op
does not charge or
receive any commission on sales.)
3.
Information on renting a half booth
and sharing with another vendor is available by talking
with Kathy Rivera.
4. A
Security deposit
of one months rent is required after acceptance
into the Emporium. This
deposit will be refunded should you
decide to leave, after any outstanding credit card fees
have been deducted.
5. Sales tax will be collected and paid by the Emporium on a weekly
basis.
6. No insurance is
provided on any of the building's contents or for
product liability. Vendors are
encouraged to have their own policy. General liability
is provided within the entire complex.
7. You may be asked to submit samples or photos of
your work. We look for items that maintain a high level
of quality and professionalism.
Items will be accepted subject to approval.
8. A vendor renting a full booth is required to
work 2 days a month
at the Emporium. A half
booth would require one work day. If a Vendor is not
able to work, another vendor may
substitute for your at the rate of $30
per day.
Vendors are required to sign up for
work days on the bulletin board calendar by the 17th of
the month. A $10 charge will be given to each Vendor
that does not sign up on the calendar before the 17th.
A $10 fee, plus $30 will be charged
if a vendor misses their scheduled work day, and fails
to get a replacement. Every Vendor must also work
one additional day between Thanksgiving and Christmas,
and volunteer for one event per year.
9. Price tags and stickers are available for purchase
and must be used.
10. LW Emporium is open every day but Mondays,
Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas and
New Years Day.
11. The walls in your booth may be painted, however,
any barn wood walls or posts may not. Lattice
and pegboard
is also not allowed.
